Jacques Pouchain

1929 - ?

Jacques Pouchain was born in Paris in 1929. After studying architecture in his hometown, he chose to settle in Dieulefit, in the Drôme region, an area renowned for its ceramic craftsmanship. In 1958, he established his own workshop, dedicating himself to the creation of unique functional pieces decorated with figurative motifs engraved in the clay and glazed in shades of brown and black.
