André Borderie

| André Borderie is recognized as a complete artist since he worked in several mediums, from painting to sculpture and ceramics. He began his career as a painter in the 1940s before diversifying, notably by working with Pierre and Vera Székely with whom he signed some ceramic, sculpture and furniture pieces. |
In the 1950s, André Borderie played a major role in the revival of the art of tapestry in France, applying the abstract language of his painting.
